Director
I look after our Inheritance Tax and investment clients. As well as being a diploma qualified finance planner, I am also a chartered accountant, one of a handful of such individuals in the country.
I graduated in economics at Manchester University in 1981, and then went on to qualify with leading accountants Stoy Hayward.
In 1987, I set up my own firm and spent 17 years advising clients on tax affairs. During this time, I realised that there was a gap in the market for ethically-delivered financial advice rather than commission-driven product sales.
I am the author of the Inheritance Tax guide “Keeping the Taxman Out of Your Home”. The purpose of this book is to help people understand IHT without having to seek expensive advice. It explains what is going on clearly and without technical language.
I am committed to providing top quality advice, in plain English, at a fair price.
I am married, live in Arundel and enjoy sailing and astronomy.

Director
I specialise in retirement planning for individuals and corporate advice, including end of financial year tax planning and employee benefit implementation for our clients.
Having joined the financial services industry in 1998, I became a diploma qualified finance planner in 2003. I am now one of the few Chartered Financial Planners in Sussex. This top level qualification was introduced into our profession in 2006 and only around 1 in 100 advisers has attained this accreditation to date. As well as passing exams, Chartered Financial Planners commit to a strict code of ethics.
My aim is to help people understand their choices so they make an informed decision that best suits their current situation. This helps clients achieve their ambitions. I also head the firm’s investment committee to ensure that we maintain a suitable and consistent approach to clients finances.
I am married, we have a lively toddler and new baby; and live on the South Coast. I enjoy hockey and am now learning how to play golf. |
